    Welcome!

    Welcome to Mrs. McD's class! I am so excited for our 3rd grade adventure to begin. In our classroom, we will grow through our learning, encourage each other, and make fun memories together!

    My Education and Professional Background

    For as long as I can remember, I wanted to be a teacher. I earned my BA in Liberal Studies through California State University. I completed my credential program and long-term substitute positions in San Diego, CA. From 2008 to 2011, I taught 1st grade and a 1st/2nd grade combo class at a school near Lake Tahoe, NV. In the summer of 2011, I began my career with Chandler Unified School District! I have taught 2nd, 3rd, and 6th grade. I absolutely love being a teacher and feel very fortunate to have such a fun and rewarding career. I am honored to be a part of the Auxier family and community!

    My Educational Philosophy

    As a teacher, my goal is to provide my students with an engaging, safe, and welcoming classroom. I want each of my students to feel loved, successful, and important! Together, we will remind each other that “Attitude is Everything”, and we will learn the value of staying positive through our challenges and successes. We will encourage each other, learn from our mistakes, celebrate our growth, and have an incredible year together!
