About
Van Epps...
Welcome to my webpage. Here is a little bit about about me: I am a proud parent of a daughter who is a chemo nurse and a son who graduated from ASU in Marketing. I have a husband who advocates for teachers. We have a rescue dog that is old in years but young at heart (he will play ball 24/7).
My Education and Professional Background
I graduated from A.S.U. with a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education. Go Devils! I received my Master's from N.A.U. in Curriculum and Instruction. I am a National Board Certified Teacher.
My Educational Philosophy
I believe that every student can learn and that a parent partnership is important for the success of each child. I truly want to be the best teacher that I can be for the students in our classroom. I believe in giving students choices and strive to differentiate instruction to take them where they are and to move them forward. I believe in empowering the students for their own learning and guide them for how to problem solve.
