Welcome to my website. I teach Family & Consumer Science. My goal is to help students discover and define their own interests, skills, personality traits and preferences and relate them to their future independent living.
My Education and Professional Background
Every student will have the opportunity to learn in a safe environment that allows them to explore and question new information and ideas. Bachelor of Science with an emphasis in Home Economics and Business. Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. Endorsements in Reading and Career and Technical Education I have taught elementary, middle school and high school.
My Educational Philosophy
I believe each and every child has the potential to bring something unique and special to the world. I will help children to develop their potential by believing in them as capable individuals. I will assist children in discovering who they are, so they can express their own opinions and nurture their own ideas.
