About
Guerrero...
Welcome! Hello Galveston Lions and families! I am so excited to be at Galveston this year. I look forward to meeting each of you throughout the year. My given name is Virginia Guerrero but please call me Ginny. I grew up in IN then I joined the Army where I met my husband Carlos. We have 5 beautiful children, 1 gorgeous granddaughter and an awesome dog. Our family activities keep us very busy. I enjoy watching movies, attending my younger kids' sporting events, and hanging out with my family
My Education and Professional Background
I attended Wichita State University where I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Education in 1997 and my Master of Arts degree in Communicative Disorders and Sciences specializing in Speech Language Pathology in 2000. I have enjoyed providing speech and language services to students of all ages in the school settings in KS, CO, and AZ since that time. I currently hold an Arizona Teaching Certificate for Pre-K-12 in Speech Language Pathology, a Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and I am licensed to practice Speech Language Pathology in the state of Arizona.
My Educational Philosophy
I believe all students can make progress toward their goals with practice and hard work.
