About
Irvin...
Welcome to my website! I am really excited to be teaching Environmental Systems Science at Perry this year. This is my 11th year teaching and my 8th at Perry High School.
My Education and Professional Background
I grew up on a farm outside a small town in South Dakota. After high school, I moved to Bozeman, MT and earned my BA from Montana State University. I received a post-bacc degree in Special Education from Rio Salado and am certified to teach both elementary and secondary General Education and Special Education classes. I have always loved to learn and could be a perpetual college student! I especially love Science and am really looking forward to teaching Environmental Science this school year. My family and I live in Chandler with numerous rescues, including dogs, cats, horses and birds. My hobbies are clay and photography.
My Educational Philosophy
I love teaching, and I strive to make my classes fun and relaxed. My goal is for every one of my students to feel confident about his or her ability and to achieve academic success!
