|"Great art has dreadful manners. The greatest paintings grab you in a headlock, rough up your composure, and then proceed in short order to re-arrange your reality"|

Keep up to date with your child's grades by signing up for and viewing grades/assignments on Infinite Campus:
Welcome to Art! I am very passionate about my content area and am pleased to be able to share this with my students every day. This year I will be teaching three sections of Into to Art and two sections of Sculpture I. Please help yourself to class syllabi, project information, and grading rubrics. I look forward to having an excellent relationship with all parents and family so please feel free to call or email me at any time.
My Education and Professional Background
I graduated from Arizona State University (Go Devils!) with both my BFA in Art Education and my MEd in Secondary Education. This year will be my fourth year here at Basha and I am so proud to be a Bear!
My Educational Philosophy
I strongly believe it to be a fundamental responsibility of educators to provide students with a wealth of diverse educational opportunities in their school experiences. Studies show that students who are engaged in the visual arts throughout their school years have increased visual/spacial abilities. These abilities can benefit anyone from a brain surgeon to an engineer.
