Welcome to the Sports Medicine Program Webpage
My Education and Professional Background
I graduated in 2008 Bachelors in Athletic Training from Northern Arizona University. I then graduated in 2009 with my Masters in Secondary Education with an emphasis in Biology, also from Northern Arizona University. I began my teaching career in the fall of 2009 at Casa Grande Union High School in Casa Grande, AZ. I taught there for 3 years both serving as a science teacher and the schools athletic trainer.
My Educational Philosophy
My philosophy when it comes to teaching is that interactive and hands on is best. If I can do a real life/work place scenario with a lesson I have found that students are more connected to the content as well as gain a deeper understanding.
