Fortune...
Welcome to Ms. Fortune's website for Core Chemistry, Honors Chemistry, and Physics.
My Education and Professional Background
This is my third year at Perry High School. In 2003, I began teaching Chemistry and Physics at Fountain Hills High School. I am enthusiastic about science education and helping students become scientifically literate as they build a solid foundation for their future studies. I grew up in Seattle, Washington. After college, I worked in the biotech and pharmaceutical, and computer industries in Seattle, Chicago, and Arizona. I love watching Chicago Bears football! I am very involved in dachshund B.A. Chemistry, Yale University, MNS, Physics, Arizona State University
My Educational Philosophy
As an educator, I believe that much of my role is to provide resources and guide students to better understanding of course concepts. Students must be active participants in their education and fully engaged in learning activities. I have high expectations for students and strive to be fair and welcoming to all students.
