Welcome!

Third grade is an exciting time in a child's development and I am looking forward to sharing this next school year with your child and your family! My hope is that we can work together to support your child's individual growth. I am looking forward to an exciting year full of learning opportunities!

My Education and Professional Background

Welcome to third grade! My name is Stacey Weber and I am thrilled to be a part of the amazing third grade team at Santan Elementary. I graduated from ASU with a Bachelor of Arts in Education and received my Master of Education Degree from NAU. I have several endorsements including Early Childhood, Reading Specialist, Structured English Immersion, and am currently participating in gifted training to complete the Gifted Endorsement. In CUSD, I have taught Community Education Preschool and Kindergarten. I have also taught first, second, and fourth grades in Minnesota and California. In addition to teaching in the classroom setting, I have also enjoyed working as a reading specialist, private tutor, substitute teacher, and volunteering. My children proudly attend CUSD schools and I am happy to be teaching in CUSD!

My Educational Philosophy

Learning is a process that should be celebrated. I believe that if we work together as a team towards the same goal, a love of learning, there is no limit to what we can accomplish. I work with students to develop learning and behavior goals that will encourage them to take an active role in being a motivated learner with a strong sense of community. Every day has the potential to be the best day ever!
