Hi! I am excited to be an inclusion teacher at Basha High School. I look forward to meeting new students and seeing some of my former students from Santan Elementary.
My Education and Professional Background
I am from Long Island, NY. I received my Bachelor's in Childhood Education: Concentration in English from Oneonta State College, Oneonta, NY. Master's in Special Education: Learning Disabilities from Hunter College and Master's in Special Education: Cross Categorical from Grand Canyon University. I taught for 5 years in the Bronx in NY in grades 2-4. I taught for 4 years in Maricopa in a Resource setting in grades 4-8. I taught at Santan Elementary in an Inclusion/Resource setting for 6 years. This is my 16th year in education.
My Educational Philosophy
My educational philosophy is that all students can learn, it is my job to find out what is the best way he/she learns and to foster that learning. I am committed to my students and their learning.
