• Love to sing?  Join the Haley Choir!

    Who: Any 4th, 5th, or 6th grade student who loves to sing and wants to sing with a great group of kids! We will learn proper singing technique, breath support, singing in 2-part harmony, etc.


    What: The Haley Choir!


    When: Rehearsals after school on Tuesdays, August 28 through November 6.  Students must be picked up behind school at 4:00 PM.  We’ll also have a performance for our annual Veterans Day assembly on Friday, November 9th during the school day. Choir is a great way to improve your singing and get your voice ready to audition for Drama Club!

    Where: Rehearsals will be held in the Haley Band Room, C26.


    Cost: $30, which includes all instruction, music materials, concert, and end-of-the-season party.  You must pay and register for Choir through the CUSD Community Education website: https://cusd80.ce.eleyo.com/course/424/semester-1-2018/haley-choir

     Haley Choir members and parents agree to abide by the following rules.  Failure to abide may result in dismissal from Choir.

    1. Be on time to rehearsals and concerts. Choir members should report to the music room directly after dismissal on Tuesdays.  The first rehearsal will be held August 28.
    2. Show respect and caring at all times, and sing your very best!
    3. Rehearsal ends at 4:00. All students MUST be picked up no later than 4:05 in the BACK of school.  If students are picked up after 4:05 more than twice, the student may be dismissed from Choir.
    4. Parents should notify Mrs. Abrahamson if their student will be absent from choir. Students are allowed ONE excused and ONE unexcused absence per concert cycle.  Excessive absences will be grounds for dismissal.
