    Welcome!

    Welcome to Mr. Cosper's 3rd grade class. I am excited to get the year started and get these kids to where they need to be by the end of the year. We have a long way to go and I can't wait to see what these kids can do.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I graduated from Gilbert High School. I attended Ottawa University and graduated with my degree in Elementary Education in 2005 as well as my masters in Educational Leadership in 2009. I taught one brave year of kindergarten in 2005-2006 in the Florence District. From there I went onto work for the Queen Creek District where I taught 1st, 2nd, and 4th grade in over eight years of service. I have been here at Patterson since 2014 where I have spent the entire time teaching 3rd grade.

    My Educational Philosophy

    Education to me is very important for every student no matter who they are or where they come from. It is necessary for students to work their hardest, try their best, and make mistakes so that they can grow and reach their highest potential. School is just one form of education for a child. I believe that extracurricular activities, whether they are physical or mental, play a huge role in the outcome of a child's academics and success.
