My Education and Professional Background
Before entering education, I Graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor's of Arts in Political Science and completed a graduate certificate in International Migrations at the Pontificate Catholic University of Peru. I obtained my Master's in Elementary Education from Arizona State University. I am certified for Middle Grades Mathematics 6-8, in addition to Elementary Education.
My Educational Philosophy
I believe education opens doors to worlds of opportunities and possibilities. By creating a classroom where students feel safe and comfortable to become actively engaged in the learning process, I hope to inspire all students to become life-long learners and venture through those doors. In the classroom, I use cooperative learning strategies to create a respectful environment that fosters important 21st century skills of communication and collaboration. I strive to create enduring learning experiences by engaging students with interactive, challenging activities.
