About
Pellegrino...
I am very excited to be a part of the Casteel High School staff. I am looking forward to a great year.
My Education and Professional Background
I received a bachelor's degree in elementary and special education and a master's degree in reading. I began my career by teaching special education students (preschool through high school) in New York State. After 7 years, I moved to Nevada where I was a special education teacher at a middle school before switching to an elementary school and teaching kindergarten and first grade. When I moved to Arizona, I taught students with special needs for two years in the Kyrene School District before joining the staff at Weinberg Elementary, where I taught first, third, and fourth grades.
My Educational Philosophy
I believe that every student is unique and will encourage each child to reach his/her full potential. With a good educational foundation, students will be lifelong learners and productive citizens.
