Welcome to the Casteel High School Media Center!
My Education and Professional Background
I have worked in Casteel High School’s Lundberg Library since we opened in 2015. I came to Casteel High School from the ACP-Oakland Campus Media Center where I worked for six years. Prior to working in public schools, I worked as a Human Resource and Training Administrator for a hazardous waste facility. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. I speak French, a tiny bit of Spanish and a little less of German.
My Educational Philosophy
I look forward to helping your children continue on the path to becoming lifelong readers. I believe the library should be an inviting atmosphere where students feel welcome. I strive to provide them with the books they love and the resources they need.
