Welcome to 5th Grade! Hold on to your hats because we are in for a very exciting year full of dynamic learning. I look forward to an amazing year of growth as well as creating a supportive community within our classroom. It's going to be a star studded year!!
My Education and Professional Background
I earned my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Ottawa University. From there, I furthered my education at Northern Arizona State University earning my master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I have taught various grade levels within my many years with the Chandler School District and am excited to be teaching online for 5th grade.
My Educational Philosophy
I believe that every child brings something special into the classroom dynamic. My goal is to educate my students by giving them the knowledge and skills they will need to be successful lifelong learners. I believe that children need to know that learning is a continuous adventure, and to gain knowledge is to gain power. My hope is to create students that have a love for learning, like myself. I look forward to getting to know every one of my students and their families.
