Welcome to a new school year! I am looking forward to a year filled with personal and academic learning. I intend to learn as much from each student as I plan to teach. Together, we will be a great team!
My Education and Professional Background

Grand Canyon University- MA Education; Curriculum and Instruction/Reading Specialist (K-12)/Middle Grades Language Arts/Middle Grades Social Studies. Bogle JHS- SITE Council member as parent and teacher/Team Leader (7th & 8th grade)/Building Leadership Team/Data Wise Team member/Teacher Leader for Bogle Pilot Credit Recovery Course/English Language Development.
My Educational Philosophy
Relationships: Parents, students, and teachers, the 3-legged stool working together to meet social, emotional, and academic needs. Communication: Open discussion in the classroom amongst students and with the teacher. My goal is to teach students to advocate for themselves and take responsibility for their learning. Perseverance: Each day will bring a new set of challenges, socially, emotionally, or academically.
