Hello and welcome to 2nd grade! My name is Nikki Moore and I am thrilled to be working with your child this year. Get ready to learn a lot while having fun!
My Education and Professional Background
I graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Elementary Education in 2004. I taught for five years in the Mesa District, and absolutely loved it. After taking some time off to be home with my children, I returned to teaching. I am excited to be teaching in the Chandler District, especially at Conley, Go Coyotes! Teaching is my passion and I believe it is a privilege to work with children each day.
My Educational Philosophy
I believe children learn best in an environment that is warm and welcoming. It is important for children to feel safe to take risk and accept challenges. This happens through creating a strong sense of community and belonging. It is my responsibility to create this for each student who enters my classroom.
