About
Murray...
Welcome to special education resource! I am excited to guide your child as we learn, and grow together. I am looking forward to working with you and your child to accomplish great things.
My Education and Professional Background
I am originally from Pennsylvania; I attended Brigham Young University, graduating in 2000 with a Bachelor’s degree in human development. I graduated with a special education Master’s degree in 2014 from Arizona State University. I am certified to teach special education and elementary education and have a Structured English Immersion endorsement. Currently I am working on my Wilson level I certification and learning just as much as the students! I was blessed with a special education resource.
My Educational Philosophy
I believe everyone has amazing potential and can accomplish wonderful things. School is not a one-size-fits-all program, that's probably why I teach in special education. It is important to find what works for the student and watch them blossom. I am grateful just to be a part of their learning experience.
