My Education and Professional Background

Hello! This is my 3rd year teaching history here a Perry, and my 13th year as an educator. I have spent the last 11 years teaching in the Chandler Unified School District. I have a BA in history from the University of Utah, and I'm working on a MA in Civil War Military History from Norwich University.

My Educational Philosophy

I believe that the best way to teach is to create a sense of community in the classroom between the students, and the teacher. I also believe in the worth of every single student who enters my classroom.
