My Education and Professional Background

I received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education and Health Education from University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in 1990. I received a Masters of Arts Degree in Exercise Science-Physical Education from Northern Arizona University in Exercise in 1995. I have taught for 25 years, the last 11 years at Mountain View High School. I also taught at Mesquite 2000-2005, McClintock 1997-2000, Bradshaw Mountain 1995-1997, Tumbleweed Elementary 1991-1994. In addition to my teaching responsibilities, I have enjoyed coaching wrestling. I have coached 315 career high school dual meet victories, I have coached two Teams to State Titles 2014 & 2015. I actively serve the Arizona wrestling community as the the AZ USA Junior National Team Director, I am Co Director of the Arizona Wrestling Coaches Association Clinic. Most importantly, I have directed the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Wrestling camp the past two years at NAU.

My Educational Philosophy

I believe that the most important thing that we can learn in any setting is how to build and maintain relationships. Being a team player that others can count on to do your best. Treating other people with respect. Listening and communicating are all essential to building great relationships. I teach and coach because I want to help youth build these great relationships.
