Welcome to Casteel! I am so pleased to be able to work with your student to make sure that they are on track and ready for graduation! I know that may seem a far away goal, but it will come sooner than you expect. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns that you may have.
My Education and Professional Background
Mrs. Johnson was born and raised in the Southwest most of her life. She graduated from the University of New Mexico with a degree in Journalism. After working in different facets of education, she decided to continue her own education and received a Master's degree in School Counseling from Capella University. Mrs. Johnson has 5 years experience as a school counselor, and has worked with students in junior high as well as high school. She is very excited to be a part of the Casteel team!
My Educational Philosophy
I believe that every student deserves to have a chance to be uncommon. Every student has a goal or dream that they would like to accomplish. My job at Casteel is to make sure that every student has the opportunity to pursue those!
