About
Rowe...
Welcome to Mrs. Rowe's junior English! You have made an excellent choice choosing Perry and I am very excited to work with the school's wonderful students and staff. Please feel free to call or email me with any questions you may have. I am happy to help and hope to enrich every student's experience at Perry High School! Welcome to Perrydise!
My Education and Professional Background
I received my BA in Secondary Education (English) at Idaho State University.
My Educational Philosophy
Although teaching requires many different attributes, I believe that the most important include kindness, patience, passion, and cooperation. 'The job of an educator is to teach students to see the vitality in themselves.' – Joseph Campbell – Like Joseph Campbell, I believe every student deserves the chance to succeed and, as a teacher, it is my job to help them build up their confidence and willingness to learn. I love inspiring my students to not only be kind to others, but also be to kind to themselves and to help them see the amazing things they are capable of. I believe in bringing out the excellence in every student by providing a safe environment where an inquisitive attitude is encouraged. Teaching is truly my passion and I greatly enjoy seeing my students grow and achieve.
