Welcome to Pre-K Stem and Community Preschool at Hull Elementary School. My name is Liana Arellano Edwards and I will be your child’s teacher this year. This will be a fun-filled year full of discovery and learning!
My Education and Professional Background
I have been working at Hull since 2016. I graduated from the University of Arizona in May of 2014 with a degree in Early Childhood Education. Bear Down! After graduating I moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota with my fiancé. I taught toddlers at a preschool there for two years. It was a wonderful experience, but I am very excited to be back in Arizona and teaching at Hull!
My Educational Philosophy
Each child is unique and brings their own lens in which they view the world into the classroom. Celebrating the differences each child brings into the classroom allows everyone to grow from each other. Young children learn best when they are playing and discovering through hands on activities.
