"It ain't how hard you hit; it's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done. Now, if you know what you're worth, then go out and get what you're worth. But you gotta be willing to take the hit and not be pointing fingers saying you ain't where you wanna be because of him or her or anybody. Cowards do that and that ain't you. You're better than that!"

Welcome!

Hi Husky Families, I am extremely excited to be a part of the Hartford Husky Team! This is a great school with great families, students, teachers and staff. I'm looking forward to working with all of the students developing their skills, improving their fitness levels and most of all making P.E. FUN! I expect this to be a great year for all of us! If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

My Education and Professional Background

I graduated from Northern Arizona University in 2004 with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education. I have taught for 10 years. In that 10 years I taught 6th grade and 4th grade in the Mesa Public School District. After my second year of teaching there, I was given the opportunity to teach P.E. in the Queen Creek School district. This is where I found my passion for teaching Elementary P.E. Last year an opportunity presented itself in the “business world”. After a short stint there I realized my heart was in education. That’s how I ended up at Hartford and I am extremely grateful for the opportunity. I truly believe I have the best job in the world!

My Educational Philosophy

I believe that all children can learn. I believe every child has the right to a rigorous, quality education that addresses the whole child. In terms of physical education, I believe it should be FUN!!! P.E. should encourage a lifetime time of fitness in which individuals participate in a variety of physical activities that they enjoy.
