Fitness Club was established in October 2016 to encourage students to live active, healthy lives...and to have fun doing so! The club focuses on building strength and learning functional body movements, but in the process emphasizes teamwork and building self-confidence.
It's currently available to 3-8th grade students.
- 3-4 grade students meet on Tuesdays (Jan. 23 & 30, Feb. 6, 13, 20, 27)
- 5-8 grade students meet on Thursdays (Jan. 25, Feb. 1, 8, 15, 22, March 1)
The club meets Tuesday & Thursday mornings on the basketball courts from 7:00-7:45 a.m. 3rd quarter classes will begin the week of January 22-26, 2017. 3rd quarter classes will conclude The week of Febrary 26-March 1.
Members are required to wear athletic shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. A water bottle is recommended.
*Students who are not wearing athletic shoes may be instructed to sit out in order to prevent injury.*
