Hello! My name is Mrs. Smith and I am a proud member of the Frye Falcon family! I began teaching in 2008 and started working at Frye in 2017. I am excited to work closely with our staff, students, and parents in the development of our little leaders!
My Education and Professional Background
I received my Bachelors in Elementary Education from the University of Northern Colorado in 2008 and Masters in Educational Administration from Arizona State University in 2016. I also have an endorsement in mathematics instruction. I have taught everything from kindergarten to eighth grade but have spent most of my time in first grade.
My Educational Philosophy
I believe it is my job to motivate your child to reach their full potential and to inspire them to reach beyond what they thought possible. I am particularly passionate about developing leadership skills in students to take ownership of their learning and finding the unique strengths within each and every person.
