About
Tomasson...
Welcome to Chandler High! I have been teaching since 2012, and I am excited to help deepen your knowledge of mathematics this year. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me.
My Education and Professional Background
I graduated from Arizona State University with my bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a Mathematics minor and then stayed at ASU to earn my master's degree in Education with a focus in Secondary Mathematics in 2013.
My Educational Philosophy
I believe that no one should be afraid of math. Mathematics is a beautiful study that everyone can appreciate. We are going to work as a team to ask the 'why's' of mathematics, enjoy making connections between concepts, and not be afraid of making mistakes, but instead making sure we learn from misconceptions.
