    Welcome to 5th grade! I am so excited to be a Sanborn Sun. This year will be full of knowledgeable lessons, incredible experiments, and projects, and of course, all around priceless learning!

    My Education and Professional Background

    In 2013, I received my Bachelor of Arts from Northern Arizona University in Elementary Education. Go Lumberjacks! I am currently pursuing a Masters Degree in School Counseling at Grand Canyon University. I have worked with students in 4th-8th grade, special education, and self-contained.

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe each and every child has the potential to bring something unique and special to our world. I will help my students to develop their potential by believing in them as capable individuals. I will assist my students in discovering who they are, so that they can express their own opinions and nurture their own ideas. I will encourage every student to be their best each and every day and portray themselves as positive, responsible, and respectful students in the community.
