My Education and Professional Background
Culver Girls Academy, Culver, IN; BA Organization Communication, Northern Arizona University; Master of Business Administration, University of Phoenix; Master of Secondary Education-English, University of Arizona. Prior to teaching, my career includes multi-unit operations management in airports and resorts (10 yrs.). I also worked for the University of Phoenix as a Senior Academic Counselor in the College of Education and Nursing (7 yrs.).
My Educational Philosophy
I believe all students can learn when they are accepted for who and where they are in their educational journey. I believe effective learning requires a collaboration between teacher, students, and parents grounded in mutual respect. I believe learning takes place best in a positive, safe student-centered environment.
