My Education and Professional Background
I have taught over ten years in middle school in the subjects of English Language Arts and Social Studies. For the past four years, I served communities as an Assistant Principal. I have a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education and Political Science with a minor in History from the University of Arizona and a Master's degree in Educational Administration and Supervision from Arizona State University.
My Educational Philosophy
I believe that students need lessons that are relevant to their lives and have teachers that are passionate and experts in their subject area. All students have the ability to learn what is being taught to them if they are willing to learn and have compassionate people teaching them.
