Welcome to Basha. The PE department is excited for the new school year and daily opportunities to get better.
My Education and Professional Background
I am a proud graduate of the College of Education at New Mexico State University. I played Football for the Aggies from 2001-2004. I was fortunate to play all 3 Linebacker positions, while finishing as a Sam Linebacker my senior year. This is my 11th year teaching secondary education I have been blessed to teach most subjects within the PE Department over the years. Focusing mostly in the weight room, I was the strength coach at the previous 5 schools I have taught. I was also the head football coach at Pojoaque High School, Santa Fe NM, Gila Ridge High School, Yuma AZ and Canyon State Academy, Queen Creek AZ.
My Educational Philosophy
When I say Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard , simply means we all have an opportunity to strive for what we hold near and dear. At the end of the day we will benefit mostly from the perseverance through the journey.
