Hello! Welcome to Kindergarten! I moved to Arizona from Colorado Springs, Colorado. I could not be happier to be at the wonderful CTA Goodman. We are going to have a fabulous year!
My Education and Professional Background
I graduated in 1996 with my bachelor's degree in Psychology and Elementary Teaching Certificate from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs Cum Laude. I obtained my Arizona Teacher's License with an endorsement in Early Childhood Education in the summer of 2017. I am also Spalding trained. I am thrilled to continue my teaching career in Kindergarten at CTA Goodman. I have previously taught P.E., Computer Lab, 4th grade, 1st grade, and Kindergarten.
My Educational Philosophy
I believe that Kindergarten sets the tone for the child's educational experience. I teach a love of learning, reading, and school working to provide a safe, supportive envioronment where each child is valued. I love working with parents to see that children succeed and work to their highest potential. What a privilege and honor it is to teach children!
