Hello! Welcome to Miss Fisher's website. My name is Kailie Fisher and I have been a teacher here at Tarwater since 2018. Third grade is a year of huge growth both academically and socially. I am thrilled to be your child's third grade teacher & so excited for a fabulous year together!
My Education and Professional Background
I graduated from Arizona State University (Go Devils!) where I received my bachelor's in Elementary Education. I began my teaching career in the fall of 2017. I completed my student-teaching in a first grade classroom and taught kindergarten before teaching third grade. My heart lies at teaching this grade level as it is the sweet spot of elementary school!
My Educational Philosophy
I believe in creating a warm, welcoming, and family-like environment for the students of my classroom just as much as I believe in striving towards their academic success. I believe in teaching my students that making mistakes are going to happen and that it is okay because this is what helps us learn and grow. I think it is important for them to learn and practice being kind, honest, and fair, as those are traits that help guide us through a positive life. It is also important for me to get my
