Welcome to the 2018-2019 school year! We have an exciting year ahead and I look forward to helping each of you reach your highest potential! Let's make this your best year!

My Education and Professional Background

I have a bachelor's degree in psychology and child development from St. Mary's College of California. I went on to complete a Master's in Education at Arizona State University in Elementary Education. I am currently working on completing a second Master's in Education in Educational Policy. I have a background in both elementary and special education and spent the first fifteen years teaching at the elementary level. I joined the Casteel Colts Special Education team this past year. I will be joining the CTE team as the Early Childhood Education teacher. I also serve on the Executive Board for the Chandler Education Association. I am actively involved with the Special Olympics of Gilbert and with the Queen Creek Center for the Performing Arts.

My Educational Philosophy

Every child is gifted. They just unwrap their packages at different times.
