Hello, and welcome to my math class! I am originally from Tucson, but I moved to Tempe to go to ASU. I loved it so much I never left. In my free time, I like to spend time with my friends, family and dog, Doodle. I also like to travel, bowl, play board games, enjoy outdoor activities, and cheer on the Sun Devils, Suns, AZ Cardinals, and Diamondbacks. This will be my 8th year teaching and first year at Chandler High. I am looking forward to an awesome year and cannot wait to meet you all!

My Education and Professional Background

I attended Arizona State University. Go Devils! I obtained my Bachelor's Degrees in Elementary Education and Special Education and my Master's Degree is in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Autism Education. Previously, I taught special education and general education math at Mesquite High in Gilbert, for 3 years. Then, I moved to Altadena Middle School in Ahwatukee. I taught special education math and ELA for 2 years, and general education pre-algebra for 2 years. Now, I am very excited to be a wolf!

My Educational Philosophy

I believe that all students can reach high standards. I hold all students accountable while challenging them and creating an engaging environment. I am hopeful that I can make a difference in my student's lives, and help them foster a confidence in mathematics. 'Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn.' -Benjamin Franklin
