Hello! My name is Gilbert Tovar and I am very excited to be teaching 1st grade at Hancock Elementary. I look forward to an awesome school year!
My Education and Professional Background
I graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and an Early Childhood Endorsement. I also possess a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Arizona State University. I began my teaching career in 2011.
My Educational Philosophy
I believe that every child is unique and special. As a teacher, it is my goal to provide all students with a nurturing environment where they can learn and grow. Teaching is my passion because I have the opportunity to make a difference; there is no greater satisfaction than seeing my students succeed.
