Our growing district continually seeks quality substitutes who are committed to giving students the very best educational experience. Join our team of the finest educators in Arizona by becoming a substitute teacher for CUSD! Substitutes have flexible schedules, and may choose the days, locations, and grade levels they prefer. Compensation is $170 per day, and increases to $200 per day for long-term assignments.

 

Substitute Certification Requirements:

 

If you have a Bachelor's degree, you are eligible for a substitute certificate issued by the Arizona Department of Education. Applicants must submit a valid fingerprint clearance card and official transcripts with the certificate application. For more information, visit the Arizona Department of Education website or call their office at (602) 542-4367.

 

Applicants must have a valid fingerprint clearance card. You may obtain a fingerprint clearance card from the AZ Department of Public Safety.

If you already have a valid Arizona teaching certificate, you do not need to apply for a substitute teaching certificate. 

 

Chandler Unified is not currently accepting an Emergency Substitute Certificate.
