30th Anniversary
A NIGHT AT THE AVION CENTER:
30 YEARS OF CARE
A tremendous milestone built on the dedication of our incredible team, the trust of our community, and the support of our partners.
Originally opened in 1995 at San Marcos Elementary School, the Chandler CARE Center has been committed to helping ensure student achievement by providing vital supports to children and their families.
We were honored to be joined by nearly 200 of our friends and supporters on Saturday, October 11th, for A Night at the Museum: 30 Years of CARE. A truly magical night, this celebration featured speakers Chandler Mayor Kevin Hartke and Chandler Unified School District Superintendent Frank Narducci, as well as the presentation of a Congressional Commendation from Congressman Stanton.
Our guests were wowed by a flamenco performance from Yumi La Rosa, Lion Dancer Ty Ng, and delicious food from Creative Hands Cuisine. Special thanks to our event planner Sterling Weddings & Events.
A special highlight of the night was the presentation of the inaugural Auxier Award, created to celebrate exceptional contributions to the Chandler community and the Chandler Unified School District.
Congratulations to the recipients:
Dr. Gary and Annette Auxier: Honored for their dedication, which includes Dr. Auxier's 30 years serving in the CARE Center medical clinic and Mrs. Auxier's 18 years on the CUSD Governing Board.
Katie Kahle: Recognized for her 13 dedicated years as the Director of the CARE Center, leading the organization in its mission to serve students and families.
The event served as a powerful reminder of the collaboration and dedication that has sustained the Chandler CARE Center for 30 years and will continue to guide its mission in the future.
