Building Blocks for Children: Hearing and Vision Screening

Dignity Health's Building Blocks for Children program provides no-cost hearing and vision screenings. 

The Building Blocks for Children program offers screenings provided by licensed professionals on-site at the CARE Center throughout the year. 

To be eligible, you must:

• Live in the city of Chandler, and/or
• Attend a Chandler Unified School District School
• For hearing screening, children 0-18 are served
• For vision screening, children 18 months - 18 years are served

Dignity Health Children's and Adult Immunization Program

Dignity Health offers free immunizations for qualified children and adults.

In partnership with Arizona's Vaccine for Children Program and Maricopa County, Chandler Regional Medical Center provides no-cost immunizations to those who are eligible. 

Eligible individuals include:

• Children under the age of 19 who have AHCCCS (Medicaid)
• Children under the age of 19 who are uninsured
• Children under the age of 19 whose insurance does not cover immunizations
• American Indian/Alaskan Native children
• Adults without insurnace or whose insurance does not cover immunizations (a $15 administration fee is requested but not required)

During flu season, free flu shots are available for ALL adults and children. Information is available on the scheduling link above or on the hospital's website by clicking this link.

What to bring to immunization appointment:

• Child's immunization record
• Letter(s) from school about required immunizations
• Pen for personal use
• Face mask (required for anyone over the age of 6 while in the immunization clinic)
