School Boundaries
Students are assigned to a home school according to their street address.
The Chandler Unified School District is located in the Southeastern part of the Phoenix metropolitan area. Chandler Unified serves more than 44,000 students in grades K-12 and encompasses 80 square miles including parts of the towns of Gilbert and Queen Creek, though not all of the City of Chandler. Chandler comprises 53 schools and programs (33 elementary, 8 middle, 6 high school and 6 alternative programs).
In addition, Chandler Unified has options for preschool (age 3) and pre-kindergarten (age 4) on 17 different elementary school campuses. For more information click here.
Open Enrollment
Chandler Unified School District offers free, full-day Kindergarten, and is an open enrollment district. Families who live outside the district or school boundaries will need to apply for open enrollment. If you are interested in attending a school other than your attendance boundary school, you must apply and be accepted through Open Enrollment before you can register. Failure to complete the Open Enrollment application will place your student's registration on HOLD. Click here to learn more detailed information about eligibility and acceptance procedures.
