- Now accepting Open Enrollment Applications for the 2026-27 school year for K-12 students.
- Open Enrollment is designed to allow your student to attend a school outside your home boundary school.
- If you are out of boundary for CUSD or the school you desire to enroll in, start with an open enrollment application.
- January 7, 9:00 a.m. - Preschool & Pre-K registration begins for the 2026-27 school year.
- January 7, 9:00 a.m. - New registration for your home boundary school or a withdrawn CUSD student who is returning for the 2026-27 school year begins for K-12 students.

* Note: Open enrollment applications must be approved prior to registering for a school that is not your attendance boundary school. If you are registering for your attendance boundary school, you DO NOT need to fill out an Open Enrollment application.

Existing/Returning Part Of The CUSD Family?
For current parents with a student attending a CUSD school and needing to add a new student/update their account.
For parents of a previously enrolled student in a CUSD school: Sign into the parent portal account, click on "more" on the left-hand side and then click "Annual Update and New Student Registration".
New Student Registration Information
The following information and documents are required to complete the online student registration.
Information
- Household – address and phone numbers
- Parent/Legal Guardian – names, work and cell phone numbers, e-mail addresses
- Student – names, demographic and health information
- Emergency contact – names and phone numbers
Documents
Have the following items below as an image or in PDF format.
- *Proof of Residency – current utility bill, lease agreement, etc. (see Acceptable Proof of Residency in the right column)
- State certified Birth Certificate
- Immunization records
Please allow at least 24 school business hours for the school's office to review your registration. You may be required to bring in the documents to the school's office for verification.
