Behnke...
Welcome to Third Grade! I am excited to be your child’s third grade teacher. It will be a year full of great memories, growth, and learning. I am honored to play a role in your child’s education. I’m looking forward to working together to help your child meet their fullest potential.
My Education and Professional Background
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Northern Arizona University. I have dedicated my time to continuing my education with many educational classes and training, including Spalding I and II. Most of my classroom experience was in first and second grade before coming to CTA-Independence in 2011. Since then, I have taught third grade love everything about it.
My Educational Philosophy
My philosophy of teaching focuses on each individual child and his/her educational needs, the teaching strategies to help each student achieve his/her highest potential, the development of positive character traits, and parental involvement. I believe that each child is a unique individual who needs a secure, caring, and stimulating atmosphere to learn. It is my desire as an educator to help students meet their fullest potential in all these areas.
