"A hundred years from now...it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove, but the world may be a little different because I was important in the life of a child."

Greetings! I am so happy to welcome you to the Conley family and look forward to sharing another wonderful year with you all.

My Education and Professional Background

I would like to share a few snapshots from my life in order to give you a better idea of who I am. I was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, and moved to Flagstaff, Arizona to pursue a teaching degree. After graduating from Northern Arizona University with a dual degree in Elementary and Special Education; I completed my student teaching in Vicenza, Italy the following Fall, which was an enriching experience both professionally and culturally. During my time outside of classroom, I enjoy spending time with my loving husband, Terry, our family, friends and adorable dogs, Winslow and Louie. My hobbies include: weightlifting, camping, hiking, dance, reading and seeing live music of all kinds. Our family is passionate about traveling to new places as well. I absolutely love meeting new people and finding inspiration to share with others.

My Educational Philosophy

In terms of teaching techniques, I believe in using a variety of instructional approaches in order to foster learning and progress. All of the lessons developed are created to be purposeful and standards-based. I believe in structure and organization, coupled with hands-on activities that makes learning fun and safe. It is my passion to spend each day with your child and provide them with the tools the fulfill all of their dreams while making sound decisions to be outstanding citizens.
