Kindergarten

English Language Arts (ELA) The Spalding Method is used to develop skilled readers, critical listeners, and accomplished writers and spellers. HMH Journeys is also used to empower readers by skill mastery and inspire them using authentic, award-winning text. Journeys and Spalding are research-based, comprehensive English Language Arts programs designed to provide solid instruction that is clear and focused.
Math The Saxon Math curriculum has an incremental structure that distributes content throughout the year.
Science Science instruction at provides students with a rigorous hands-on approach to science through inquiry-based activities, project-based learning assignments, laboratory investigations, STEM projects, and relevant technology that brings content to life.
Social Studies In Social Studies, student engage in rigorous, intellectual work that encourages historical thinking skills, inquiry, depth, and relevance.
Physical Education Physical Education provides students a foundation of skills and knowledge that can apply to many activities so that students are willing, able, and interested in seeking a lifetime of physical activity. Resources include OPEN Phys Ed, Dynamic PE, Physical Best, Great Body Shop, and, The First Tee.
Music Students experience the Orff Approach -- a child-centered way of learning music education. All students participate in grade level performances.
