CUSD celebrated Black history on Wednesday, February 10 at the Governing Board meeting. African American school administrators read the Black History Proclamation and Heather Tawney, sixth grade teacher from Ryan Elementary School, shared a Black History lesson taught to her class that highlighted other "change makers" from the Civil Rights movement.
