Black History Month Board Recognition - February 2024
During the February 14 Governing Board meeting, CUSD was proud to recognize Black History Month with Black Student Union student members from all of our high schools. Staff member Renee Moon was also honored for 25 years at CUSD, and Chandler High School's BSU Sol Steppers performed.

Student Council Convention 2023
Each year, student leaders from all CUSD high schools come together to plan and coordinate the annual Student Council Convention. This year's convention was held on Monday, February 13 at the Chandler Center for the Arts. The event is high energy but also teaches leadership skills through teambuilding, teamwork, and team spirt.

Chandler Unified Spelling Bee 2023
Congratulations to all 40 of our top spellers across Chandler Unified for competing in the 2023 CUSD Spelling Bee! The top 10 students will represent CUSD in the Maricopa County Regional 6 Spelling Bee at Higley Unified School District on Wednesday, February 15.

Basha High School Wins the State Football Championship - December 2022
What a dream season for Basha High School! The Bears secured their first football state title just in time for the school's 20th Anniversary. Basha High School Bears vs. Saguaro High School Sabercats - Open Division State Championships, Saturday, December 10, 2022. Basha wins 28-21.

Family Assistance Day - November 2022
Due to the many donations from CUSD schools and the community, the Chandler CARE Center was able to provide nearly 500 families with turkeys and food bags at the Thanksgiving family assistance day. Volunteers from Chandler High and Willis Junior High were on hand to help the distribution go smoothly.
