BE A SWEETHEART TO SOMEONE IN NEED - DONATE BLOOD! Air Force Junior ROTC and Vitalant (blood service) are hosting a school-wide BLOOD DRIVE on Thursday, 27 February 2020 from 0730-1230 in Hamilton High School's North Gym. Students 16 and older are eligible to donate and can sign up at the Blood Drive table during any lunch. 16-17 year old donors will be given a release form called a "Minor Donor Permit" that needs to be filled out/signed by a parent or legal guardian and returned to the Blood Drive table or the HHS front office by 21 February. Students 18 or older should sign up at the Blood Drive table during lunch or through an AFJROTC member in one of their classes. All other adults are urged to come donate as well - we'll take you as a walk-in at any time during the drive or you can sign up for an appointment at (search for Hamilton High School - Thursday February 27th). Currently, there is no viable medical substitute for human blood and there are hundreds of people in need of blood products daily in the Phoenix area. The only way providers can ensure patients get the life-saving blood products they need is to have a constantly replenished supply on hand. The need is always present! Your 30-minute donation of one pint of whole blood can save three lives. Be a hero to those in need....DONATE on 27 February!
