  • Open Enrollment for the 2022-2023 School Year

    If your student is currently attending Hancock Elementary on an Open Enrollment and will return to Hancock Elementary, NO need to re-apply for Open Enrollment for the 2022-2023 school year. You will instead complete the online Student Intent to Return form.

    An Open Enrollment Application is ONLY needed if you wish to request a different school for your student(s). The online Open Enrollment application will be available beginning Monday, January 10 at 7:30 a.m. Visit the CUSD Elementary Open Enrollment page for more information regarding Open Enrollment for the 2022-2023 school year.

    Once an Open Enrollment Application is accepted, continuing Open Enrollment is subject to review each year without reapplication if continuing at the enrolled site.

If you are sending a family member who is on the emergency card to visit/pick up your student, please remind them be ready to show ID. We provide accelerated classes in core subjects to ensure that all students are being challenged on their level.  Hancock’s staff is committed to our students’ academic and social emotional well-being. We are blazing a path to the future with our many clubs, including: Kindness Club, Garden Club, Choir, Running Club, Tutoring, and Student Council. The arts are also very important, so each year we provide an Artist in Residence and a comprehensive Art Masterpiece program.   • Hancock Heat Weekly Newsletter- The Hancock Heat Happenings is a weekly newsletter that will be posted to Peachjar each Friday. The newsletter will  include upcoming Hancock events, news and information. It will show up in your emails if we have one for you. Peachjar flyers and the newsletter can also be found on the Hancock website. Peachjar will also display all Community Education flyers sent from District.
