  • Stormin' Day on July 19

Santan JHS will hold our annual Stormin' Day on Thursday, July 19. This is a great chance for students and parents to check lots of items off of their back to school to do lists, including:

    • picking up class schedules
    • touring the school (and seeing your classrooms)
    • meeting teachers
    • setting up cafeteria accounts
    • learning bus routes
    • purchasing spirit wear and PE uniforms
    • registering new students

7th grade students should plan on attending Stormin' Day from 1:00-3:00 pm, while 8th grade students should attend from 3:00-5:00 pm. If you are unable to attend Stormin' Day, you can check your Infinite Campus account for your schedule. Student schedules will not be available before Stormin' Day.

If your child is planning on trying out for a sport during the 2018-209 school year, he/she will need a sports physical on file.  More information and required forms are available on our athletic website.

Finals will be averaged into the students’ grade at the end of the semester with a 10% weight.  If students are absent for their finasl, they will have a choice to take them at specified times upon their return. If a student chooses not to make up the examination once missed, it will be counted as a zero.  Once the final has been made up, the new grade will be reflected in Infinite Campus.

  • Changes to Student Drop Off & Pick Up

To ensure all students' safety, please note the following changes to Santan's flow of traffic for student drop off/pick up.  Both Elementary and Jr. High students are to be dropped off and picked up in the west parking lot by the schools' front offices.  Please pull past the crosswalk and wait to drop off/pick up your children on the north side of the crosswalk.  Do not drop off/pick up your child on the south side of the crosswalk before you reach the crossing guard.  Also, the horseshoe bus parking lot on the southeast side of the school is for school buses only, even when there are no school buses there.  Students who participate in before and after school events should be dropped off and picked up in the west parking lot, not the bus parking lot. Thank you for helping us keep our students safe.

Click here for the flow of traffic map to drop off and pick up students.

  • CUSD Goes Paperless!

CUSD will be going paperless this year!  Progress reports and report cards can be printed from the portal.  Each parent is encouraged to activate their account at the start of the school year to ensure that they are well informed of student progress.  All school sites have a parent portal manager should you require set-up assistance or have further questions.  Portal accounts will allow parents to check their child's academic progress at any time during the school year. Please visit this link to set up your parent portal account.
