New opportunities at Casteel High School in Queen Creek

October 24, 2024

Queen Creek, AZ - We’re excited to announce a change coming to Casteel High School (CCHS). Starting next school year, CCHS will officially split into two schools: Casteel Junior High School (grades 7-8) and Casteel High School (grades 9-12). This split will enhance our tradition of excellence, offering more opportunities for student success.

Casteel Junior High will provide a traditional junior high experience along with an Accelerated Academy for qualifying students, promoting collaboration, creativity, and project-based learning. Honors courses will also be available to all students, creating a stimulating environment. Additionally, junior high students will have the unique opportunity to participate in high school-level athletics and fine arts programs using our top-tier facilities.

Casteel High School will continue to serve grades 9-12, maintaining its commitment to excellence.

The combination of a classic and accelerated approach at Casteel Junior High, paired with the rigor of Casteel High School, ensures every student thrives.
